Where Legends are Born
and History is Made

Round 1 - Black
Two Man Scramble

Streamsong Black is a dazzling Par-73 championship layout offering breathtaking views of the vast landscape, which includes flowing elevation, rolls, tumbles and sand ridges akin to the Sand Belt Region of Melbourne, Australia.

Round 2 - Chain
Singles Match Play

The Chain is designed to dial up the fun factor, with match play and walking at the heart of the experience. The course includes a six hole loop that plays around a grove of Oaks with holes that vary in length from 153 - 50 yards.

Round 3 - Blue
Two Man Best Ball

With its multiple elevation changes, fairways navigating wild grasses and deep-water ponds and huge bunkers that roll off of towering sand dunes, Streamsong Blue seems designed by discovery rather than by intention.

Round 4 - Red
Singles Stroke Play

Streamsong Red is like nothing you’ve ever played. With its striking landforms, expansive lakes, rolling terrain and stretches of open savannah, Streamsong Red brings drama and strategy into play on each spectacular hole.

The Hackers Tournament

Hosted at the famous Streamsong Golf Resort, the 2024 Hackers Tournament is the ultimate team competition and test of individual skill and endurance. Amazing shots will be made and even more shanks are to be expected, but in the end there will only be one winning team.

August 24th - 26th 2024

Tournament
 Format

The Hackers Tournament will feature two teams of 4 competing to earn points for a total of 4 rounds. Each matchup will be scored as follows: 1pt for win, 1/2 pt for tie, 0 pt for loss. In the case of a tie on the last day, an 8 player closest to the pin on hole 19 at Red course will be used as the tie-breaker.

Ryder Cup Format

For rounds 1,2, and 3 the team captains will pick the individual matches for each round. The players will go out according to match assignments.

Match Play

Round 4 will consist of a stroke play competition with player handicap strokes given based on course handicap. The player with lowest net score (score minus strokes given) at the end of the round in each matchup will earn the full point.

Stroke Play

Alex Kusch (C)
Team 1
HC: 3.9

The most skilled player in the field who is long off the tee but short where it counts the most.  His well documented foam rolling sessions may be his secret to success and key to leading his team to victory.

Kevin Mckernan
Team 1
HC: 12

The ultimate vibes guy who can hit the driver a country mile. Nobody knows his true potential because he has zero focus on the course and is more concerned about his Spotify playlist than the golf match.

Ben Morse
Team 1
HC: 16.8

You won't hear much from Ben, most likely due to his height and being low to the ground. But don't let his small stature fool you, he has a game that resembles Zach Johnson's and and soft hands around the greens.

Beau Green
Team 1
HC: 25

He may have the highest handicap in the field but can also give James a run for his money from time to time. With a golf shot pattern that resembles a shotgun blast, his biggest strength is that he is James Brewer's Daddy.

Tommy Bliven (C)
Team 2
HC: 6.1

There is no bigger trash talker than this guy and from time to time he will back it up. If he can find his driver swing he will be dangerous but that's only of he doesn't black out and take his team down with him.

IMG_7505 2.JPEG
Joseph Straub
Team 2
HC: 13.4

Once feared by his friends because of his deadly accuracy and knack to go low on the course, these days Joseph is just trying not to lose to James. He still has the skill to compete at a high level but if he's taking shrooms we will never see it.

Mike Hendricks
Team 2
HC: 18.6

His claim to fame is that his back is in just as bad shape as Tiger Woods',  but he's able to pull shots out of his ass from time to time. If he can keep from physically falling apart on the tee box then he has a chance to compete.

DSC00348.jpg
Wayne Miller
Team 2
HC: 18

A veteran to these annual golf trips and he knows that it is a game of endurance and skill. Wayne may only golf once or twice a year but he shows up when the team needs him the most and when nicknames are being assigned.
